• Shelby Nealy's defense team makes final plea against death penalty in murders of ex-wife's family (fox13news.com) — A man already on death row for killing his ex-wife’s family in Tarpon Springs is asking a Pinellas judge to spare his life. At a Spencer hearing, his lawyers argued that brain injuries, PTSD, and lifelong trauma impaired his impulse control, while prosecutors countered that his violent behavior long predated those issues. The judge will decide his sentence by April 10.
