Tarpon Police, Cops 'n Kids Seek Smiles at Christmas
The annual Christmas program is under way, and Tarpon Police need your help.

As the holiday season moves forward, the Tarpon Springs Police Department is accepting new, unwrapped gifts for children ages 5 to 14.
As part of the annual Christmas program, the TSPD and Cops 'n Kids provide gifts for underprvileged youth.
According to Captain Jeffrey Young, "the Police Department is asking for help in making the wishes of these children come true."Β

The group is also taking in cash donations so that items from each child's "wish list" can be purchased.

Tarpon Springs Police Department Cops/Kids Program
Toy donations will continue to be accepted through Thursday, Dec. 20.Β Checks or cash will be accepted anytime, as the Cops and Kids program is a year round program.
Donations can be dropped off at the Tarpon Springs Police Department.
A large number of stuffed animals has already been accepted for the Christmas program, so clothing, shoes and underwear for kids (ages 5-14) are encouraged.
According to a news release, calls received in reference to donations made by phone are fraudulent.
