Tarpon Springs a Dog Friendly Destination

Did you know that there are designated parks for your furry friends, right here in Tarpon?

There are two off-leash dog parks in Tarpon Springs, each with its own offerings for man's best friend.

A.L. Anderson Park, located at 39699 U.S. 19 N., is home to the paw playground facility. With a fenced-in perimeter, trees for shade and benches for humans to chill out, the paw playground is a great escape for any pet owner and his or her four-legged friend. There are water stations as well as a fenced division between small dogs and big dogs.Β

Live Oak Dog Park, located near the corner of Live Oak Street and Safford Avenue, is set back from the road a bit with a large fenced in play area. There is a water station, a separate area for small dogs and even a fire hydrant for the pups to enjoy. Trees create natural shade while benches line the park to provide comfort to dog owners.Β
