Tarpon Springs SWAT vehicles at Sunset Hills Elementary alarmed some residents as they passed by the school recently.
The SWAT team and their vehicles have been spotted a couple times in the Sunset Hills parking lot over the past week.
According to Captain Jeffrey Young of the Tarpon Springs Police Department, the SWAT team are completing a number of trainings at the 1347 Gulf Road school while students are away for summer break.
Young said the trainings will run from Wednesday, July 24 through Friday, July 26.
