Tarpon Springs Woman, 75, Found

Police were looking for help locating a missing 75-year-old Tarpon Springs woman.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Update 11:11 a.m. May 10: Tarpon Springs Police say that Carmen Milagro Rivera-Colon has been found and is safe.

Earlier: The Tarpon Springs Police Department is asking residents for help locating a 75-year-old woman reported missing Wednesday morning.

According to the police department, Carmen Milagro Rivera-Colon left her home in the 1500 block of Bridgewater Drive early in the morning and hasn’t been seen since.

Rivera-Colon stands approximately 5-foot-3 and weighs about 130 pounds. She has blondish white collar-length hair and brown eyes. Authorities say she was last seen wearing a red long sleeve shirt and red-and-white Christmas sleeping pants with deer prints on them. She also had on black slip-on dress shoes.

“A reverse 911 is being placed for this area asking residents to be on the lookout for Carmen,” a Wednesday morning email from the agency said.

Anyone who knows of Carmen’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department at 727-938-2849, or 911 if an emergency situation prompts the need.
