On Wednesday, City of Tarpon Springs officials reported a "precautionary boil water notice" being issued for South Disston Avenue between East Tarpon Avenue and East Lime Street.
The notice was due to ongoing construction in the area. Currently, water service is completely off but city officials anticipate it will be turned back on before 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Water samples will be taken today and tomorrow to determine the safety of it.
