The Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization is using the Internet for help in an effort to create a 30-year blueprint for the county's transportation system.

Residents can help shape the plan answering those and other questions and adding topics through the website telluspinellas.com.

The website is created to determine a list of transportation needs and match funding for those projects which will be used as part of the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan, according to the site.

The website features a series of questions and topics for residents to share their opinions to determine those projects.

Some of the other questions include:

  • Where do you feel unsafe on the road, sidewalk, bicycle trail or anywhere else in Pinellas County?
  • What type of transportation improvements would you like to see in Pinellas County?

Within each topic, users can suggest ideas, agree with others’ ideas they support, and provide insight on how residents and commuters will be affected by the plan.
