Asian Fusion Eatery To Open Soon In Temple Terrace

A favorite in Gainesville, Zen Noodle Bar announced it will soon open a new fast-casual Asian fusion eatery in Temple Terrace.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — A favorite in Gainesville, Zen Noodle Bar announced it will open a new fast-casual Asian fusion eatery at 8787 N 56th St., Temple Terrace, in December.

The eatery offers a blend of Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese flavors with every dish made to order with dedication to "balance, authenticity, sustainability and inclusivity," in other words, zen.

Whether it's a big bowl of hot pho, a hefty serving of stir fry noodles or a quick bite of soft, steamy bao buns, each dish at Zen Noodle Bar is crafted with quality ingredients and flavors inspired by the heritage as Asian-Americans.

Menu items include the bahn mi Vietnamese sandwich with pate, cucumbers, pickled carrots and dailon, cilantro and homemade yum sauce with a choice of grilled pork, char siu pork, bang bang chicken, pork belly, ginger tofu, teriyaki chicken and bul gogi beef on toasted bread.

The Bun (grill noodle bowl) includes traditional Vietnamese vermicelli noodle bowl with cucumbers, lettuce, daikon/carrots, bean sprouts, cilantro and fish sauce.

Diners also have a choice of pad thai, drunken nooble, stir fry noodle crispy noodle and a wok noodle bowl with chicken, pork, tofu, shrimp or ribeye.

The rice bowl offered a choice of zen fried rice, kimchi fried rice, spicy basil fried rice or a wok rice platter with chicken, pork, tofu, shrimp or ribeye.

Appetizers include sauteed or steam edamame, chicken dumplings, veggie dumplings, homemade krab wontons, Vietnamese summer rolls (Gỏi cuốn), fried calamari, takoyaki (a popular Japanese octopus snack), bao buns and chicken wings with bang band, teriyaki, sweet chili, spicy Korean and zen zesty ginger sauces.
