City Council Expected to Consider Street Improvements

The council is expected to:

- consider a resolution that would award a $296,737.64 contract to Tampa Bay Construction and Engineering Inc. to construct improvements to 56th Street from Riverhills Drive to Temple Heights Road; and
- consider a resolution that would award a $569,110.20 contract to Valleycrest Landscape Development Inc. to construct streetscape improvements to Temple Heights Road from the western city limit to 56th Street.
According to Mike Dunn, the cityβs public information officer, the improvements will be much like those that the city has already made on 56th Street with landscaping and irrigation, bus facilities, decorative sidewalks, walls, new lighting, and other various enhancements.
