The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. The Cityβs CAFR was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, including demonstrating a βspirit of full disclosureβ to clearly communicate its financial story, the association wrote.
In determining Temple Terraceβs eligibility, judges weighed several factors, such as whether the Cityβs document was easily readable, efficiently organized and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, said Director Diane Reichard.
