Crime Report: Area Homes Were Burglarized This Week
The following information was supplied by Community Service Officer Tracy Mishler, of the Temple Terrace Police Department.

Burglary in Progress
Oct. 7, 9:36 a.m.
100 block of Ridgedale Road
Home occupants were in a separate living quarters and heard male voices coming from the main residence, said Community Service Officer Tracy Mishler, .
The occupants entered the main residence and saw three men fleeing the home carrying TVs and other items.
βApparently the front door of the home had been left unlocked,β Mishler said.

The subjects, who fled the home in an SUV, were able to nab three laptops and two video games.
Investigating officers found the vehicle later in the day and impounded it.

Burglary Residence
Oct. 7, sometime between 2 and 3:45 p.m.
300 block of South Riverhills Drive
Unknown subjects took a menβs mountain bike from an open garage, Mishler said.
Suspicious Person
Oct. 9, 4:12 p.m.
100 block of North Greenfield Avenue
An officer responded to a suspicious person call and located a subject walking on a nearby street, Mishler said. The officer came in contact with the subject, who was using fake flowers as a prop to knock on front doors to see if anyone was home. If someone came to the door, the subject was offering to sell the flowers.
The subject was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriffβs Office later in the day for burglarizing a residence.
βGood call by one of our residents in immediately reporting this suspicious activity,β Mishler wrote in his Crime Update email. βLikely this subject was βcasingβ homes in Temple Terrace.β
