Fatal Motorcycle Crash Snarls Morning Traffic

A fatal motorcycle crash has traffic near Fowler Avenue and 56th Street backed up this morning.

At around 9:15 a.m., March 19, Twitter user @TampaBayTraffic, also known as ABC News traffic reporter Meredyth Censullo, reported that southbound 56th Street is closed and that traffic westbound on Fowler Avenue is jammed because drivers cannot make the left turn onto 56th Street.

Earlier, she warned drivers in the area that it appeared a body was visable to passing drivers. "If you have kids in the car, I wouldn't take NB 56th St. Body on scene of crash south of Fowler," she wrote.

Drivers in the area should seek another route around the area.
