Goddard School Collects Food for Needy

From The Goddard School:

is an official drop-off site for Metropolitan Ministries Food Drive now through Nov. 15. Donation barrels for non-perishable foods are located inside the front door of The Goddard School.

“Here at The Goddard School, we believe in supporting our community,” said Brad Toston, owner of the school. “Our curriculum also includes lessons in manners in which we foster skills in friendship, compassion, cooperation and kindness. Supporting our community through this food drive gives our students something real to relate to their classroom lessons. The Goddard School parents have always been so generous and we invite the public to participate as well.”

Metropolitan Ministries’ mission is to care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency. The organization involves citizens in understanding and caring for their community’s disadvantaged.
