Help Us Take Back-to-School Photos This Morning

It’s an exciting day for kids across Temple Terrace.

This morning, they’ll put on their new threads, strap on backpacks full of supplies, grab a packed lunch or money for a school meal, get on school buses, and start the 2011-12 school year.

It’s a butterflies-in-your-stomach sort of occasion, especially for the little ones who are going to school for the very first time.

We’d like to post a photo gallery of these moments later today. A couple Patch contributors will be at a few schools to take pictures, but we need your help.

If you have kids who start school today, we want you to take first-day photos. Just snap pictures of your kids getting on the bus, dropping off their supplies, waving goodbye and so on and add them to the gallery or e-mail them to ashley.reams@patch.com. Make sure to let us know who is in the photo.
