Historic Home Bike Tour Hits Town April 30
Event includes an open house at a restored historic home in Temple Terrace.
TEMPLE TERRACE, FL β The Temple Terrace Preservation Society will host its Historic Home Open House & Historic Homes Bike Tour on Saturday, April 30 from 1 to 5 p.m.
The event starts with an open house at 219 S. Glen Arven Ave., Temple Terrace, the newly renovated mission-style home owned by Greg Barnhill and Chuck Kaelin.
βAbove all else, I wanted to maintain the historical character of the house,β Barnhill said of the extensive rebuilding and renovation.

Tampa History Bike Tours is teaming up with local historians Grant Rimbey and Tim Lancaster to lead the following bike tour of historic homes. Bicyclists interested in participating in the tour should arrive at the Glen Arven home at 2:30 p.m.
The suggested donation is $10 before the event and $12 the day of the event. Proceeds will benefit the historic Temple Terrace Bat Tower.
