Maj. Gen. Luis Visot Speaks at Chamber Luncheon

Maj. Gen. Luis Visot said serving the United States is his honor.

"It's what I was born to do," he told members of the Wednesday at their November Luncheon, which took place at and was sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care.

Visot is the executive director of the Joint Military Science Leadership Center, a program that is designed to enhance the quality of reserve officers training programs for the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force.

During his presentation, Visot focused on the U.S. Army and talked about the trust that is placed in a soldier's hands.

"Soldiering is a matter of the heart," he said. "...We're committed to defending each and every one of you."
