M&B Products Making Chocolate Milk Healthier for Schoolkids
Temple Terrace business has cut back on sugar content amid statewide debate, TBO.com reports.

Temple Terrace’s M&B Products, which produces chocolate milk for Florida schools, has reduced sugar content in its drinks, according to a story posted on TBO.com on Tuesday.
Sherri Ackerman's article, "Chocolate milk delivers nutrition but stirs debate," examines the argument over whether or not flavored milk drinks are a healthy option for kids. It’s a topic that was in the news last year when the Florida Board of Education tried to ban the drinks because of nutrition concerns.
Ackerman quotes Dale McClellan, co-owner of M&B Products at 8601 Harney Rd. The company makes fat-free chocolate milk with 22 grams of sugar and 130 calories that is sold in 19 school districts across Florida.

According to the story, McClellan doesn’t think chocolate milk causes obesity; he says kids watch too much TV and get too little exercise.
