Men Burglarized Vehicle, Went on Shopping Spree, Deputies Say
Breaking: Hillsborough County deputies are looking for help identifying two men wanted in connection with a recent auto burglary.
TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying two men its deputies say broke into a vehicle, swiped a debit card and then went on a shopping spree.
According to the agency, the crime in question occurred around 1 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 11200 block of Bloomington Drive. The men are accused of breaking into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and taking a number of items, including a debit card.
Shortly after the break-in, deputies say the men used the debit card at several Family Dollar stores in Hillsborough County. The card was also used at the Quick Stop Meat Town and Food Market, 7627 N. 56th St.

Video surveillance photos were obtained from the Family Dollar stores. The men appear to have been driving a dark-colored pickup truck, the sheriff's office said.
Anyone who can recognize the suspects is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS.
