Tampa Liberty School Offers Classes in October
Registration is now open at locations in Carrollwood and Brandon.

The , the organization that put on a weeklong seminar in Temple Terrace over the summer for kids, will begin offering classes in Carrollwood and Brandon in October.
The school is taught by volunteers from the Tampa 912 Project, a local Tea Party affiliate group that was founded by New York Times bestselling author and political commentator Glenn Beck.
Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to learn about the founding principles of the United States, according to Jeff Lukens, a conservative writer and the school’s primary organizer and director.

“The school is dedicated to educating, enlightening, and exciting the youth of America, as to the fundamental principles and beliefs on which this country was founded,” Lukens said. “We strive to empower them with the knowledge and will to preserve these liberties for the future.”

- Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1425 North Blvd. in Carrollwood, on Saturdays from Oct. 1-29
- Boys and Girls Club, 213 N. Knights Ave. in Brandon, on Saturdays from Oct. 8-Nov. 5
Why won’t there be a Temple Terrace location?
“We move the school around the county so we can reach a larger audience,” Lukens said. “Not to worry, however, we will be returning to the Paideia School in June next year for a school, maybe even two schools.”
