Temple Terrace Recognizes 'National Police Week'

On Tuesday, Mayor Frank Chillura proclaimed May 12-18, 2013 National Police Week in Temple Terrace.

Temple Terrace Police Chief Ken Albano accepted the proclamation.

National Police Week has been celebrated across the country since 1962, when President John F Kennedy signed a proclamation that desgnated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week the date falls in as Police Week.
