Time Warner Could Open New Center in Temple Terrace

The media company will begin operating a proposed center in late 2012, according to reports.

Time Warner is planning to move to Hillsborough County and will open a shared resource center in late 2012 in either Tampa or Temple Terrace, according to Naked Politics, a blog produced by The Miami Herald.

According to the post, titled Time Warner to create 500 jobs (over five years) in new Tampa-area center, Gov. Rick Scott and Time Warner CFO John Martin announced Tuesday that the new center will create 500 jobs over a five-year period. It will start with about 100 employees, and the jobs will mainly be in human resources and information technology.
