• Orange County to consider closing 7 schools amid ‘significant' enrollment decline (fox35orlando.com) — Union Park families should know that Union Park Middle School is among seven Orange County campuses being studied for possible closure because of steep enrollment declines and funding losses. District leaders say no final decisions are made yet, but a Dec. 16 school board work session will outline the impacts and options as they weigh how to operate fewer under-capacity schools.
