SJC Ventures breaks ground at Wesley Chapel Station

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — SJC Ventures, a premier Atlanta-based mixed-use, grocery-anchored retail and multi-family development firm, recently broke ground on Wesley Chapel Station, a 75,968-square-foot mixed-use center coming soon to Wesley Chapel.

Located at the corner of Bruce B Downs Blvd. and Aronwood Blvd., the premier shopping destination will be anchored by a 35,518-square-foot Whole Foods Market. In addition to the organic grocer, PopUp Bagels, CAVA, Naked Farmer, Petfolk, The Tox and a nail salon will also join the retail hub, with additional space available for other tenants.

Adjacent to the center, SJC Ventures is also developing an 85,000-square-foot space for Life Time, which operates more than 180 athletic country clubs that go far beyond a gym to help members make the most of life.

“Wesley Chapel is a rapidly growing section of North Tampa with multiple new residential and commercial centers,” said Natalie Battisti, vice president of leasing for SJC Ventures. “This location is the perfect spot for an organic grocer, upscale dining, fast-casual restaurants and everyday essential shopping.”

On site, the commercial real estate firm will be making substantial infrastructure improvements to the drainage system.

Groundbreaking on the site took place in mid-November, with first tenant openings projected for the second quarter of 2027.

Additional pre-leasing efforts are ongoing for Wesley Chapel Station, with 15,000 square feet of retail space remaining for restaurants, medical, soft goods retailers and service users. For retail leasing inquiries at Wesley Chapel Station, contact Natalie Battisti at natalie@sjcventures.com.
