WESTCHASE, FL — A 27-year-old man has died following an accident Wednesday on the Veterans Expressway. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 9:41 p.m. July 10, Jorge M. Soto of Tampa was driving a Toyota north on the expressway when he came upon another vehicle. He over-corrected to avoid a collision and struck an Audi driven by Amanda G. Rogers, 32, of Tampa. The crash sent the Toyota back across the road where it collided with a concrete barrier wall. Soto was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital where he died.
