Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve Now Open To Public

After a week of wildfires, preserve is re-opened.

The Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve is now open after  a wildfire raged through the preserve this week. The preserve, located at 18102 Ramblewood Road in Lutz, has been declared safe for visitors. No determination was made as to what caused the wildfire.

Brooker Creek is a 1100-acre preserve comprised of oak hammocks, pine woods, grassy meadows and cypress swamps, which includes a 5.5 mile hiking trail.
