On Sunday, students at the spent the evening making holiday cards for U.S. troops serving overseas. Academy owner Jennifer Dawson had the idea after learning that only 50 percent of troops overseas receive gifts or cards for the holidays. The cards will be shipped by Michael's Arts and Crafts stores to troops overseas this holiday season.
