Floyd Cardoz: Top Chef Winner Comes to Tampa
Cardoz, winner of Bravo's Top Chef Masters, brings his talents to Publix Apron's Cooking School, Wednesday, Sept. 7

They say a chef's personality comes through in their food. If that's true, Floyd Cardoz's dishes are sure to be packed with a warm smile, engaging chuckle, and a silly side.
Luckily, Tampa will get a taste test.
Cardoz, winner of Top Chef Masters season 3, will bring his cooking talents and upbeat attitude to Apron's Cooking school tomorrow, Sept. 7 at 6:30pm during a cooking demonstration.

Cardoz, who is the Executive Chef of North End Grill, is also the author of the cookbook One Spice, Two Spice. Top Chef Masters contestants compete in different cooking challenges each week for the chance to win money to donate to their favorite charity.
Cardoz the top prize of $100,000 in winnings to the Young Scientist Cancer Research Fund at Mount Sinai Medical School.

As a contestant on Top Chef Masters, Cardoz was known for fresh ingredients and bold flavors.
On the menu for his Apron's appearance: Watermelon and Lime Salad; Grilled Black Pepper Shrimp; Sweet Spice Braised Short Ribs and Turmeric Mashed Potatoes; Vanilla Bean Kulfi, Citrus Fruit, and Rosewater.
