Hair Cuttery Gives Back One Haircut at a Time
Take your child to have their hair cut at Hair Cuttery and help a child in need.

Hair Cuttery may have just opened its doors in Westchase, but isn't wasting anytime giving back to the community.
Between now and Aug. 15, when your child gets a haircut at , a free haircut will be given to a child in need.
In its twelth year, the company's "Share a Haircut" program has benefitted thousands of children and charities across the country.

"The kids are really grateful," said Amber Wade, assistant area leader for Hair Cuttery's Tampa market.
The salon chain a location at 12109 W. Linebaugh Ave. in Westchase. It is the first Hair Cuttery location to open in Tampa Bay. Five salons are planned for the region by the end of 2011.

The family owned and operated chain has more than 220 salons in cities throughout Florida including Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonsville, Miami and Orlando.
Locally, the Share a Haircut program will provide vouchers through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.
Last year, Hair Cuttery donated more than 16,200 haircuts to disadvantaged children in Florida through the campaign.
The chain also participates in other charitable campaigns throughout the year including cut-a-thons. It's this benevolence that makes stylist like Jeb Gibson happy he chose the right company to work for.
Gibson grew up getting his hair cut at a Hair Cuttery location in Ocala and often looked forward to getting his hair done by a stylist there. Now he is a salon leader at the Westchase location.
"I looked forward to going to get my hair done by her," he said. "Our clients really do come first here."
And that goes for children in need as well.
"Kids want to feel good about themselves," Gibson said. "With this, no matter what demographic they come from, they can still look good."
Children's haircuts at Hair Cuttery cost $11 for a shampoo and hair cut; $16 for a shampoo, blow dry and hair cut.
