After a week of work, Henderson Road will reopen Saturday, Aug. 3. The road was closed in conjunction with the Veterans Expressway widening project. This $386 million Veterans Expressway improvement project includes the widening of 11 miles of road. The improvements are set to double the capacity of the highway from four to eight lanes.  "...this is a shout out to all of our friends at Well Care who have been so patient with us this week," wrote department spokeswoman Christa Deason in an email.
