Mall Fun For Little Ones
Westfield Mall's Family Fun Days lineup offers free fun for children.
On Thursday, children and their parents congregated in the Macy's court at Westfield Citrus Park Mall for the Family Fun Day activity, which featured the story "My Dog Thinks I’m a Genius” by Harriet Ziefert, and “Make Van Gogh’s Bed” by Julie Appel.
Kids explored their artistic abilities by creating their own masterpiece and Valentine's Day cards.
The mall offers storytime and activities the first and third Thursday of the month at 4pm. Each of the events are based on a different theme. All are free. In March the program will focus on the arts.

"It makes a lot of sense for us to reach out to shoppers with this prgoram," said Mary Ellen Collins, interim marketing director for Citrus Park Mall. "It's consistent and regular and offers them value."
On February 16, Westfield Family Fun Day will feature Egyptian themed stories, starting with “One Blue Hippo” by The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Children will practice counting with the help of works of art from the Metropolitan Museum’s Egyptian collection.
