New Apartments Add To Residential Mix in Westchase

Community and comfort. Those are the two words that best describe the new Camden Apartment complex recently unveiled on Montague Street and Waters Avenue.

The 192 unit complex has a Key West meets Tampa decor, with lots of communal spaces for residents to meet and relax. The complex is one of two Camden complexes recently located in Westchase.

The Camden Countryway Apartments -- across the street from the Upper Tampa Bay Library -- will open later this month with 360 units.

The Camden Montague complex, located at 9567 Sunbelt Street, has a smaller, close-knit feel, said Janae Pranschke, Camden Montague apartment community manager.

Pranschke hopes to offer several recreational activities for the community, including game day and movie nights. The clubhouse features a 3-D large screen television.

The Houston-based Camden company is one of the largest multi-family housing providers in the country. There are about 15 Camden apartment complexes in Tampa Bay.

Among the amenities at Camden Montague are a fully equipped fitness center with virtual stationary exercise bicycles, a billiards table, kitchen/lounge area with Wi-Fi and a pool.
