The news came over the summer. Vila and Sons, the landscaping company that had cared for Westchase's greenways and common areas had filed entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Leary of what the future held, the Westchase Community Development District sought bids from other landscape companies. Starting Nov. 1,  Tampa-based Mainscapes Landscape Company will take over landscape duties for the community. The CDD awarded the comapny the contract last week. Mainscapes provided the most acceptable bid to the CDD. Mainscapes is a national commercial landscaping and lawn service company. The company will be paid $741,000 annually to maintain the Westchase grounds.
