An Odessa man died after crashing his motorcycle into the median on Memorial Causeway on Sunday night.  Around 7:25 p.m., James E. Williams, 26, was traveling eastbound into downtown at a high speed when he lost control of his motorcycle descending the crest of the bridge, according to Clearwater Police. Williams was thrown from the motorcycle and hit the base of a sign before landing in the westbound lanes, officials said. He died on impact.  The motorcycle came to a stop about 200 yards away. Part of Memorial Causeway was closed for nearly four hours during the investigation.
