Cosmo is a Goffin Cockatoo, who is approximately four years old. He would love to belong to an active family who has plenty of time to give him attention. Cosmo loves to cuddle with anyone and steps us easily, he is a very sweet bird! He is currently being converted to a healthier diet with pellets and fresh fruits and vegetables. His favorite treat is pinenuts or slivered almonds. He does not realize that he has no wing or tail feathers and can not fly, but he is now downy all over and we hope he will allow the feathers to grow back in with time, the proper diet and plenty of toys (he loves toys!) He did have some sores on his skin when he came into rescue, but they are almost completely healed up now with downy feathers growing in over them, he has made a great deal of progress in his foster home. He likes to have plenty of attention in the evening and then to be put in his cage and told it is time to go to bed and then he is very quiet!
