• Part of Upper Tampa Bay Trail temporarily closed (tampabeacon.com) — If you use the Upper Tampa Bay Trail near Westchase, expect a short closure east of Sheldon Road and north of Channel A while a hurricane-damaged culvert is replaced. The county says the clearly marked section will stay closed for several weeks, and recent upgrades along the trail near Westchase and Citrus Park highlight its importance as a major regional route.
