TAMPA, FL — Downed power lines in the area of Sheldon Road and Waters Avenue are causing a bit of a problem for Friday morning commuters. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, northbound Sheldon Road is closed at Waters Avenue as a result of the downed lines. Eastbound Waters Avenue is also closed at Sheldon. The sheriff's office says TECO crews are on the scene making repairs. It is unclear how long the closing might last. Image via Shutterstock

TAMPA, FL — Downed power lines in the area of Sheldon Road and Waters Avenue are causing a bit of a problem for Friday morning commuters.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, northbound Sheldon Road is closed at Waters Avenue as a result of the downed lines. Eastbound Waters Avenue is also closed at Sheldon. The sheriff’s office says TECO crews are on the scene making repairs.
