Volunteer Here: Horse Power

Horse Power for Kids is looking for a couple of volunteers to help with the group’s reptile area. Experience with reptiles and children is preferred. Please be 18, a people person and able to work at least three hours a week.

 The group works with inner-city and at-risk kids. Studies show that kids benefit from riding and learning about horses and animals and that the interaction improves self-esteem, social skills and academic performance.
