The society is dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. The group funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. There is no typical volunteer. People can work as many or as few hours as they like and the group tries to keep schedules as flexible as possible. Students can join the intern program to learn about marketing and management strategies at a nonprofit.
