Westchase Residents Respond To Osama's Death

We asked several residents on the streets of Westchase their reactions to news of Osama Bin Laden's death.

Late last night news broke about the death of Osama Bin Laden. Today more details have become availalble about Osama's death at the hands of U.S. troops in a counterterrorism raid in Pakistan. But what's uncertain is whether or not the terrorist leader's death makes us feel any safer.

Westchase Path sought out to ask a few random people in our neighborhood this question: What was your reaction to Osama Bin Laden's death and does it make you feel more secure? Here's what they said:

Dustin Phillip: "I definitely think it's a great thing. I feel more secure for our troops."

Jay Foster: "Obviously I think it's a good thing." (But he doesn't feel his death reduces the terrorism risk.)

Pamela Reeder: "It's about time." (Doubts his death reduces the terror threat.)

Vicki Skinner: "I'm glad. But I'm sure he's trained somebody to replace him." (Doesn't feel more secure.)
