Yoga Studio Hosting Grand Opening With Free Classes and Food

Harmon Yoga & Wellness Center had a soft opening in March, but will celebrate a grand opening on Saturday, June 23

Amy Rogers is opening her second yoga studio in a year.

This first was in Carrollwood. This one, Harmony Yoga & Wellness Center, will be closer to Westchase at 4507 Gunn Highway.

On Saturday, she'll host a grand opening featuring free yoga classes, massages and food. The event is open to the public, and will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on June 23 at the studio.

Although there's a plethora of yoga studios in Tampa Bay, Rogers said a few factors set hers apart, including alternative health methods such as weight management.

"Our students are part of our extended family, and we care about each one individually," she said. "Regardless of if you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, Harmony has a class for you."

For yoga skeptics, Rogers offers this:

"Our breath alone can bring metamorphoses and change all negative feelings into peace and harmony. With so much disease these days, yoga offers a way to bring harmony with oneself, which brings physical and mental health."
