DALTON, GA — A 16-year-old is facing four counts of felony murder in Whitfield County after a fatal shooting at a suspected robbery claimed the lives of three men and a teenage boy Saturday, authorities said.

The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office said at least two people from Rome, with guns and items used for concealment, met with 21-year-old David Antonio Delgadillo and 19-year-old Joshua Pedro Pelico-Pelico - both of Dalton - at Pleasant Grove Park to receive unspecified contraband.

Delgadillo and Pelico, along with Rome residents 18-year-old Robert Valencia and 17-year-old Daniel Segura-Cruz, were killed in the shooting, authorities said.

Though authorities did not identify the 16-year-old they say is linked to the deadly shooting, they said the person was charged on suspicion of four counts of felony murder.

Whitfield County Sheriff Scott Chitwood at a past news conference said authorities do not believe the shooting was gang-related.
