GEORGIA—"One, two, three." *Click.* And repeat.
What makes a location Instagrammable? A certain "je ne sais quoi" that only the Insta baddies can sense in the air?
Location matters almost as much as an outfit for an Instagram photo shoot. But finding fun, interesting backgrounds can be difficult, especially if you never leave the house.

Every person with an Instagram account anywhere in Georgia already knows that everyone takes photos at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. It even tops some lists of places with the most Instagram photos geotagged within Georgia. If you're traveling, you just can't avoid the obvious airport photo or a plane's wing in the sunset on your feed.
But we found five locations in Georgia to give your Instagram photos the vibe that says you were at a fun location and posted a candid instead of just going there for the photo.

If you want to give your feed the feeling of quirky fun, then the Georgia Aquarium is the place to go for an unexpected type of photo. According to Time, the Georgia Aquarium has been the most Instagrammed location in Georgia in the past, and looking at the photos that are geotagged to the spot, you can see why. The options are endless for out-of-the-box photos with neon coloring, amazing sea animals and unique lighting. Have fun with your photos while you learn more about the interesting creatures who dwell in the aquarium.

For a classic outdoor location that is beautiful on its own or as a background, the Forsyth Park Fountain is perfect. Framed by oak trees, the historic fountain is gorgeous. The water shoots from several locations, making the multitiered fountain look even more stunning as the water glistens in the sun. Try a posed photo in front of the fountain or a few (alleged) candids while enjoying the view. Splish splash — maybe you can even play with some water for a dynamic shot.

Look no further for captivating nature shots: Wormsloe Historic Site has so many picture-perfect spots that you won't be able to pick which ones to fit into your post. First, the main photo attraction is the "breathtaking avenue sheltered by live oaks and Spanish moss," according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The trees form a stunning, photoworthy canopy tunnel over the road leading to the ruins of a colonial estate, the oldest standing structure in Savannah.

Historical interpreters participate in programs and events, demonstrating life in the 18th century and wearing period dress. The landscape is gorgeous, and the "the interpretive nature trail leads past the tabby ruins along the marsh to the Colonial Life Area." Your photos will capture the feeling of being in another world.
Inside Mason Mill Park lies an abandoned water tower at the Old Decatur Water Works. According to Explore Georgia, "the waterworks facility was abandoned in the 1940s and has fallen into disrepair, but the ruins and street art make for great shots, especially around the water tower."

Colorful graffiti now covers the ruins of the old plant and tower, making an urban and adventurous backdrop for top-notch Instagram photos. The multitude of colors from the graffiti and shapes from the ruins, mixing with the natural surroundings, will give you plenty of fun angles to play with until you find the perfect shots.
Finally, if abandoned locations with graffiti are not your type of urban art, then Marietta has the Instagrammable locations for you. The many murals of Marietta are fun and playful yet still have a strong city vibe. The Marietta Arts Council runs the Downtown Marietta Mural program, which includes murals of all different art styles and topics around the city.

The murals are fascinating to look at and certainly will make for enviable Instagram photos. Don't be afraid to try different poses and to mix up your interaction with the art until you find the photos that look "magnifique." You can view all of the current murals here.
