Missing GA Firefighter Fatally Shot Ex Before Dying By Suicide: Report
"I'm sorry to whoever found us. I am sorry to everyone I hurt," GA firefighter Raegan Anderson said in a suicide note, per a media report.
COCKE COUNTY, TN — An autopsy report shows a missing Georgia firefighter shot and killed her ex-boyfriend and fellow firefighter before taking her own life in June in Tennessee, Newsweek reported.
Liberty County firefighters Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander disappeared on June 25 and were found dead five days later inside of a vehicle along Hollow Road in Cosby, Tennessee, authorities previously said.
Anderson's vehicle, a black 2017 Ford Focus, was also found at the scene, police said in the past.

After penning a suicide note with a message for her grandmother, Anderson allegedly shot Kuhbander to death before turning the gun on herself, Newsweek reported, citing the autopsy report.
"I'm sorry to whoever found us. I am sorry to everyone I hurt. ... Tell her how sorry I am. I love you Nanna. I want her to inherit everything," Anderson wrote in the note, per Newsweek.

Investigators said Anderson forced Kuhbander to go with her on June 24, Newsweek reported. The duo disappeared the next day from Midway, per Missing People in America and media reports.
Though Kuhbander's family last spoke to him around 11:15 a.m. that day, MPIA said both he and Anderson appeared hours later around 7:30 p.m. in Cosby. Both of their cell phones had been turned off, MPIA said.
It was believed the duo was headed toward the area of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in Tennessee.
