
The Acworth City Council recognized the Acworth Football & Cheerleading Association on Dec. 2 after its most successful postseason ever. Five Acworth Competitive Division (Division 1) teams won the North West Georgia Youth Football League Super Bowl for their age groups, as did five teams in the Instructional Division (Division 2). In Division 1:
- Coach Jeff Albright's 80-pound Acworth Warriors.
- Coach Andy Hite's 90-pound Acworth Warriors.
- Coach James Albright's 100-pound Acworth Warriors.
- Coach Stanley Halbrooks' 110-pound Acworth Warriors.
- Coach Nate Halbrooks' 120-pound Acworth Warriors.
In Division 2:
- Coach Guy Halbrooks' 70-pound Acworth Warriors.
- Coach Stan Fisher's 80-pound Acworth Warriors.
- Coach Robert Hattersley's 100-pound Acworth B Team.
- Coach Kevin Stumpf's 110-pound Acworth B Team.
- Coach Rico Francis' 120-pound Acworth C Team.

All of the team members, coaches and team moms received certificates for their participation and accomplishments.
