Camp Acworth Summer Registration Opens for Ages 6-14

Camp Acworth, established in 1999, is a summer day camp that provides a safe and active environment for your child to enjoy their summer.

Registration for Camp Acworth opened on Monday, March 3.  

Camp Acworth is based out of the Acworth Beach House at Cauble Park and is for children ages 6 - 14 (Children attending 1st - 5th grade and children attending 6th to 8th grade in upcoming school year).

Camp consists of eight, one-week sessions beginning the first week in June and concluding the first week in August (there is no camp the week of July 4).

Normal camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and extended hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Campers will enjoy various outdoor activities including swimming, canoeing, hiking and archery as well as arts and crafts and team sport activities. Each week campers go on a field trip to exciting places like Stars and Strikes, Zoo Atlanta and the World of Coke.

Weekly guests will visit Camp Acworth and teach kids a variety of subjects, ranging from public safety to performing arts.
