Couple Charged in Lake Car Burglary
Investigators expect additional charges in other jurisdictions related to the use of an allegedly stolen bank card.

An Acworth couple was charged in the alleged theft of items from a vehicle parked near Lake Allatoona.
Sheriff Clark Millsap said in a press release that investigators lodged an auto burglary charge against both Bobby Dariel Alexander, 37, and Michelle Rae Huffman, 27.
The alleged victim May 20 parked near the dock at for about an hour and several items were stolen from her car, including her cell phone and credit card.

She discovered her card was used in the Cartersville area.
Alexander was arrested by Cartersville police with the victim's card and cell phone, and now investigators have found that Alexander and Huffman were caught on video allegedly making other charges on the card just after it was reported stolen.

The pair have bonded out of jail, each accused of auto burglary, but pending charges in other jurisdictions are expected.
