Family Dollar Slated To Open 2nd Acworth Store This Summer

Family Dollar is planning to open a second Acworth store this summer.

Acworth Patch Facebook fan Dawn Conrad told us about the construction on Baker Road, and Family Dollar spokeswoman Bryn R. Winburn confirmed the chain is building an 8,000-square foot store.

Acworth has a Family Dollar Store on Bells Ferry Road, but the store at 3454 Baker Road is slated to open sometime this summer, Winburn said.

It will employ eight to 10 workers, and "we look to hire from within the communities we serve," she added.
