The head of the Georgia Department of Labor recently recognized an Acworth woman who graduated from the agency's leadership development class. Labor Commissioner Mark Butler presented a certificate to Denise Samuel, the chief of the state's unemployment insurance tax administration division in Atlanta. Samuel is a 2013 graduate of the Department of Labor's Executive Commitment to Excellence in Leadership (EXCEL) class, which explores political, social and economic issues facing Georgia and the nation.
