2 Confirmed Dead In Alpharetta Plane Crash: Report

At least two people died Monday in an Alpharetta plane crash, and authorities are searching for more passengers.

ALPHARETTA, GA — At least two people have died after a plane crashed Monday on Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta, according to 11Alive.

A twin-engine Beechcraft G58 was on its way to the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport when it crashed in Rock Mill Park, according to the outlet.

Authorities are searching for more passengers, the outlet reported.

The Big Creek Greenway remains closed between Haynes Bridge Road and Preston Ridge access points while the National Transportation Safety Board investigates the crash, according to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
