3 Dead In Single-Vehicle Crash In Alpharetta Identified: Report
One of those who died in the Westside Parkway crash was a University of Georgia freshman, a media report says.
ALPHARETTA, GA — A third person has died after a car crashed Tuesday evening at Westside Parkway, WSB-TV reported Wednesday.
The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety initially said two people died at the scene and three people were injured; however, WSB-TV reported the third person died while at the hospital.
The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. Authorities have not said what led to the single-car crash.

The medical examiner's office identified the deceased as Aryan Joshi, Anvi Sharma and Sriya Avasarala, all 18-years-old, WSB-TV reported. Avasarala was a University of Georgia freshman, the outlet reported.
The crash prompted Westside to be shut down from Maxwell to Hembree roads.
